MY Foundation is pleased to announce the launch of private 1:1 consultation sessions with visiting scholar Sheikh Jaffer Ladak, as part of its expanding Resident Aalim programme for Spring 2026.
This initiative reflects MY Foundation’s continued commitment to providing accessible, relevant, and personalised religious guidance, supporting individuals and families across all aspects of life.
Expanding the Role of the Resident Aalim
The introduction of private consultations forms part of a broader vision to make scholarly guidance more accessible beyond traditional lectures and sermons.
Through its Resident Aalim programme, MY Foundation offers:
Regular majalis, lectures, and educational programmes
Youth engagement and mentorship
Workshops addressing contemporary challenges
Pastoral and spiritual support for individuals and families
Community guidance on faith, identity, and modern issues
The addition of structured 1:1 consultations ensures that community members can now access direct, personalised support in a confidential and approachable setting.
A Unique Opportunity for Personalised Guidance
These consultations provide a rare opportunity to engage directly with a scholar of significant academic and practical experience.
Sheikh Jaffer Ladak brings a diverse background, having previously served as Director of the DRC Group before pursuing formal Islamic studies at the Al Mahdi Institute (Birmingham) and Hawza al Muntazir (Kerbala). He currently continues his advanced studies in Qom.
He has served as Resident Alim in London and Leeds, holds an MA in Islamic Law, and is a published author of seven books.
