At MY Foundation, we are building more than just a space - we are building a centre of faith, learning, and community for generations to come. Your support allows us to maintain the house of Allah, deliver meaningful programmes, and establish lasting religious guidance through a resident ʿĀlim. Every contribution, big or small, is a form of ṣadaqah jāriyah - a continuous charity that benefits you in this life and the next.
🏠 Building Loan (Qarz Hasana)
Alḥamdulillāh, through your generosity, we have successfully paid off the interest-based portion of the building finance. What remains is a Qarz Hasana (interest-free loan) - a trust we are committed to repaying with integrity.
Outstanding balance: £238,000, 100% interest-free, a community responsibility we aim to clear as soon as possible. This loan enabled us to secure a permanent home for MY Foundation - a space that now hosts prayers, programmes, youth activities, and community services.
Every contribution goes directly towards reducing this balance and moving us closer to full ownership of the centre. We will continue to provide transparent updates so you can track progress and be part of this journey.

📖 Resident ʿĀlim
We are incredibly grateful for your support in welcoming Sheikh Jaffer Ladak to MY Foundation this spring. However, having a resident ʿĀlim is not a short-term goal - it is a core pillar of what this centre is meant to be.
A resident scholar provides:
Consistent religious guidance and leadership
Regular majālis, classes, and youth engagement
A strong spiritual presence within the community
Our aim is to secure a long-term resident ʿĀlim, and we need your support to make this sustainable. Be part of establishing a legacy of knowledge, guidance, and connection to the Ahlulbayt (ʿa).

🏗️ Building Maintenance
Our centre is a large, historic building that requires continuous care, upkeep, and improvement to remain safe, welcoming, and fit for purpose.
We are currently working towards raising approximately:
- £2,000–£3,000/month for essential running costs (utilities, cleaning, security)
- £15,000–£25,000/year for ongoing repairs and maintenance
- Additional funds for long-term improvements and upgrades
