Dr Sayyed Rehan Naqvi is a Shia theologian and energy scientist based in London. He holds a PhD in Energy Engineering from NTNU (Norway), a graduate diploma in International Relations from the London School of Economics, and a diploma in Web Journalism from Nord University. After years in the energy industry, he pursued his passion for Islamic theology, earning a master’s in Qurʾanic Sciences and Tafsir and receiving the Ijazah al-Riwayah (اجازة الروایة) from several Marajiʿ in Qom. He is the author of The People of Deeper Understanding, a book on the concept of Ulul-Albab (اولوا الالباب) in the Qurʾan. He currently balances his religious work with a professional career in the energy industry. He is also an ECB-certified cricket coach.
